The Nursing Team

Our Nursing Team consists of three Registered Veterinary Nurses, three Student Veterinary Nurse & one Veterinary Care Assistant.
The team are experienced and dedicated in caring for your pet as if their own. They thrive themselves on keeping their knowledge up to date to ensure the highest standards of care is received by you and your pet.

Chelsea Ingamells RVN (Head Nurse)

Chelsea started nursing in 2007, after previously gaining two years voluntary experience in practice. She joined the team at Riverside in 2014, and became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015 since then Chelsea has gone on to become Head Nurse within the team.

Chelsea has a keen interest in reproduction, all aspects of surgery and emergency & critical care. And is currently undertaking a Nursing Award in Emergency, Critical Care & Anaethesia.

She is also trained to perform Pregnancy Scanning via Ultrasound. Chelsea is also a Clinical Coach & Mentor within the Practice to train and support Student Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants during their courses.

In her spare time she likes to enjoy time with her furry family consisting of three Bulldogs, Jackson, Lili, and  Halo and her two French Bulldogs Fidget and often seen around the practice Polly. Chelsea also shows her Bulldogs, and has been doing this for 5 years since her first Bulldog Jackson.

Lisa Woolsey RVN (Deputy Head Nurse)

Lisa started at Riverside in 2003 and then went on to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010.


Lisa then went on to become Deputy Head Nurse not long after qualifying. Lisa has since gone on to become a qualified first aider and a clinical coach within the Practice.


Lisa currently works part time within the Practice and has a keen interest in anaesthesia


She lives in West Pinchbeck with her husband, daughter and Dave the dog.

Carrie Butler RVN

Carrie is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, she qualified in July 2003 and joined the practice two months later.

Carrie lives in Pinchbeck with her husband Paul and two children, she currently works part time. At present she owns 4 dogs (Jack, Archie, Ruby and Baz), 2 cats (Louise and Lewis) and several chickens.


Carrie is passionate about Companion Animal Behaviour, Feline Friendly Nursing and Improving Care of Geriatric patients, she is currently undertaking the International cat Care Diploma.


At present she is training her young Working Cocker Spaniel puppy Baz, with the hope of becoming a valued member of the beating team, her other interests include Horse riding, Dog walking, Running and spending time with family and friends.

Kally Haywood SVN

Kally came to Riverside in October 2015. Before joining the practice, Kally completed a National Diploma becoming a Veterinary Support Assistant whilst volunteering at another practice.


Kally began her Veterinary Nurse training at the College of Animal Welfare in September 2016 to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.


She has a keen interest in Dentistry and upon qualifying would like to undertake a Nursing Award in Dentistry.


Kally has had pets all her life, including cats, rabbits, dogs, hamsters and mice. This has influenced her interest in Veterinary Nursing. Currently Kally owns rescue cat Alfie, and has more recently taken on Sketch & Phoenix the stray kittens.

Alisha Harris SVN

Alisha came to Riverside as part of her placement for her Veterinary Nursing Degree. She is currently in her first year and has a keen interest in anaesthetics and enjoys furthering her knowledge in this area.

Upon qualifying Alisha would like to further her knowledge in canine rehabilitation, post operative care and recovery.

Alisha shares her life with Daisy, the Old English Sheepdog, two Miniature Schnauzers, Jim & Norman and two cats, Frankie & Dillon. In her spare time Alisha enjoys walking her dogs, socialising with friends and studying for her exams.


Ellie Berlyn ANA

Ellie has aspired to be part of a Veterinary Team since a young age, she began working at Riverside in June 2017.

Ellie plans to undertake her Veterinary Nursing Diploma in the near future, she is looking forward to going back to pen and paper and studying.

She lives with Desi, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, three British Shorthairs, Gem, Tilly & Bubbles, three Jack Russel Terriers, Oscar, Peggy & Ryley.

In her spare time Ellie shows her four horses at County Level, taking Desi to obedience classes and socalising with friends.
Hayley Gray VCA

Hayley began working at Riverside in December 2016 and has always inspired to work within a Veterinary Practice. She has undertaken a Level 3 Higher Diploma in Animal Management & Welfare.

Hayley plans to undertake her Veterinary Care Assistant course, and hopes to one day train as a Veterinary Nurse.

She has been involved with animals from a young age owning, dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ducks to name a few. 
Hayley is owned by Marcel the French Bulldog and Mr Pushkins, the cat.
In her spare time Hayley enjoys scenic walks with Marcel, socialising with friends, reading and has a keen interest in bee keeping & wildlife.
